I think like most sports & passions, when you fall for them, you fall hard. They become both the foundation and the fabric of your daily psyche that are never far away in your thoughts regardless of what you’re doing.

For me this passion, obsession, addiction (or is it an affliction) is with the sport of Surfing. I’ve always loved the sea growing up on both the South & East coasts of the UK but it was the parallel sport of Skateboarding in my teenage years that introduced me to my obsession that 36 years later is burning harder now than it ever has.

Now living in Somerset and a regular in the Somerset, North Devon & Dorset line ups, I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled to some lovely parts of the world as a result of this obsession and I’m still frothing for exploration and travel both at home and abroad.

So here we have Tubetime, a blog, journals of sorts that shares stories on travel, the surf industry, thoughts on equipment, technique, technology, friendships purely for the fun of sharing.
